It's MADHOUSE to expect them to terribly fuck everything up like they did Needless.

Hahaha, oh wow, that was the best cliffhanger to leave this unfinished story on. I want the second season so badly now that I can taste it. That whole episode, the conclusion of last week's game and on, was just a great way to leave all of this on a high note. This seems to have done pretty well for itself too, from what I've seen, so luckily there's not much worry about it not being followed up on as far as I can tell.

Definitely better than Nanana's crappy cliff hanger. Though the coin toss plan was a bit of an ass pull. For it to just perfectly bounce into the groove on the floor.

Didn't he trap it with his foot?

He nudged one of the bricks to tighten it in place, but still, how would he know that it would perfectly bounce into the grove for him trap.

Also when he was asking for a favor in the epilogue, I thought it would be to touch her fluffy tail, not summon whatever she did.

It looks like to me he opened the groove too, so all he did was simply toss the coin up so it falls directly below.

Oh, and that Old Deus scene is anime original actually. At least the order the scene show up, the same point in LN doesn't have that scene yet but the scene appears later in the end of volume 6. So I guess they really have planned for Season 2.

MAD HOOOOOOOOOOOOUSE!

Basically, they had to pull a cliff hanger out of their ass to get people excited over an S2. Hopefully it doesn't use the red filter.

Watched the first episode just now with my cousin, and I have to say, while it was interesting the gratuitous panty shots of an 11 year old girl were not something I liked. Also, with how they present our MCs, I feel like there isn't much Drama since they're supposed to be SUPER AMAZING ULTIMATE GAMERS.

I feel like there is no tension, and there won't be in the rest of the show. We just started episode 2.

I like Panty shots.

Just not of 11 year old girls, cause that is just nasty.

I'm pretty sure not being in the self-insert otaku bait character who wants to fuck his younger sister, who of course isn't blood related so this is totally not a bad thing, demographic or genre is a really good thing,

Was that actually her age? I don't remember anyones being said at all. Or if they were even blood related. It got confusing in the later episodes. Some made it seem like they weren't, others made it seem like they were.

Though Ep.2 or 3 pretty much flat out showed that he's not into Shiro, what with betting Setph to fall in love with him because he didn't want to stay a virgin forever.

Yeah, they're not actually into each other that way. Sora points out both the sister and way too young things as making it creepy himself, actually.

As for tension, watch through to the end of the first real game before deciding that. I think it happens across episodes three and four, if I remember correct. That's pretty exemplary of what the rest of the series looks like, with comedic gaps like what you'll see in episode two in between. There is tension, and a lot of the fun is seeing them overcome the hang ups in their plans so brilliantly that it makes you want to shout it out like a World Cup announcer.

we made it through half of episode 2 before interruption but the comedy moments were actually pretty funny, especially with Steph beating herself for actually starting to fall in love with him.

As for the tension thing, I said it feels like from how they present the main characters that there wasn't going to be since the openning makes them out to be super amazing at games.

and trying to follow the rules for Rock Paper scissors was convulted and confusing.
